REROUTE RIBBED ROOT BARRIER ReRoute™ root management barriers are continuous root barriers with integral, moulded vertical ribs for correct management of tree roots. this high density root barrier is supplied in 300mm and 600mm deep rolls. The barrier will deflect the growing roots downward sufficiently to protect a standard pedestrian kerbline from surface rooting. RER300 - ReRoute 300 30m roll, 300mm deep, 1.0mm thick RER600 - ReRoute 600 30m roll, 600mm deep, 1.0mm thick BENEFITS Deeper root system means greater drought tolerance and improved tree stability Protection of pedestrian kerbs from root heave Retrofitting around recently planted trees Protects tree when pavement re-instatement works are carried out Easy to install, no specialist equipment needed Ribbed construction prevents root swirl and directs roots downwards and outwards Flexible design allows the barrier to curve around obstacles but is rigid enough to hold its form when backfilling. ReRoute jointing tape will ensure ‘root-proof’ joints when joining roll ends ROOTDEFLECTOR™ DIMPLED BARRIER RSNI600 600mm deep, 30m roll, 1.0mm thick This well-known cuspated (or dimpled) barrier material is now available from StrataGreen. Although many installers prefer vertically ribbed versions as being most effective in deflecting roots downward, this material is still used in the tree planting and root management industries. Supplied in 30 metre rolls, the available depths are 600mm and 1,000mm. RSNI1000 1,000MM deep, 30m roll, 1.0mm thick BENEFITS Deeper root system means greater drought tolerance and improved tree stability Protection of pedestrian kerbs from root heave Retrofitting around recently planted trees Protects tree when pavement re-instatement works are carried out Easy to install, no specialist equipment needed ReRoute jointing tape will ensure ‘root-proof’ joints when joining roll ends ROOT BARRIER SUPER ADHESIVE JOINING TAPE This joining tape is essential in effectively and properly joining two edges of barrier together. If not used, there is a high risk of tree roots passing through the gap, even if it is overlapped, and causing unwanted damage to services, pavement and infrastructure. The holding power of the adhesive is not affected by water, and will fasten the two ends of barrier together for the life of the barrier itself. Installation instructions are available to installers, showing how to correctly install and join root barrier. RST7230 72mm x 30mm per roll StrataGreen LANDSCAPE EQUIPMENT DIRECTORY 12
