Tim’s primary role is to monitor and work with the StrataGreen sales team, helping them to support their customers. He maintains a hands-on approach by routinely quoting and handling customer enquiries to keep himself connected. It’s a job he enjoys thanks to the team approach and the chance to collaborate with customers – to find solutions; to assist customers in reaching their landscape goals.

What was your first job?

My first part-time job was assembling aluminium ute trays during my school holidays. My first full-time job was at an upholstery factory upholstering and assembling chairs and couches. The experience of production line work was interesting, but I can’t say I miss it!

How would you describe your job to a bunch of 5-year olds?

I go to work to help people find solutions for their garden designs and to make their lawn & plants healthy and green.

If you could pick anyone to be your professional mentor, who would it be?

Grant Cardone.

Are you a beer or a wine person?

I love a bit of both, depending on the setting! There’s nothing like a cold beer after some hard yakka or to wash down a pizza with your mates. A nice red always finishes off a baked dinner well.

How would you spend a million dollars in one day?

I’d buy a farm! As long as it wasn’t serious I’d love to play farmer on the weekends. A bit of land to conduct trials on would also be handy for the work we do.

What's the best thing about your job?

Seeing a completed project that our solutions have helped create.
