Greenworx has taken landscaping to the next level with their latest residential project in City Beach. This property, was in the market in June 2024 is the culmination of innovative design and thoughtful execution. Engaged by both the builder and a property development syndication group, Greenworx was tasked with crafting a landscape that would be visually striking yet low-maintenance—perfect for potential buyers looking for style without high upkeep.

In the initial brief, Greenworx was asked to design a landscape that required minimal upkeep and made a lasting impression. Multiple balcony planters provided unique design challenges: with limited depth and access, these planters demanded a creative solution. Greenworx is delivered by incorporating cascading plants that drape over the edges, softening the space and adding lush, green interest from any angle. The effect? A natural, effortless aesthetic that makes a significant impact with little maintenance.

Stunning Design Elements: Bluestone, Turf, and Formline Edging

As you approach the property, the large turf area wraps around the corner block, framing the home in the traditional City Beach style. Bluestone steppers strategically break up the green expanse, leading you seamlessly from the road to the front door. Not only do these steppers add a practical pathway, but they also create a dynamic visual contrast that elevates the entire front yard.

Greenworx installed steel retaining instead of a traditional brick wall, painted white to blend seamlessly with the home’s facade for an added touch of modernity. This choice creates a cleaner, minimalist look and enhances the structure’s architectural appeal.

A vital feature of the landscaping design was Formline garden edging. Renowned for its durability and modern aesthetic, Formline was customised for this project with a white powder-coated finish by Greenworx. This edging proved the ideal solution, adding definition and cohesion to the property’s layout. Its crisp lines keep the plantings and lawn beautifully contained, all while minimising the need for ongoing maintenance.

Logistical Challenges and Expert Execution

This was no ordinary job. Due to the property’s layout, heavy machinery, including cranes, was brought in to import soil and materials—an impressive feat that underscores Greenworx’s dedication to quality. Rainbird irrigation products were also used throughout the project, ensuring that the landscape remains well-watered and lush with minimal effort required from future homeowners.
