Perth Garden Show 2026
A Weekend of Inspiration, Innovation & Connection
The Perth Garden Show 2026 (17–19 April) was a fantastic weekend filled with inspiration, collaboration, and meaningful conversations — and we were proud to be there representing Formline and Rhinoweld.
Over the three days, the StrataGreen team had the pleasure of meeting landscapers, gardeners, industry professionals, and enthusiasts alike, sharing ideas and discussing everything from gabion structures to landscape edging solutions. It was great to see so much interest in practical, design-driven products that help bring outdoor spaces to life.
Showcasing Formline & Rhinoweld in Action
Our stand featured a series of beautifully designed display gardens, created to highlight the versatility and visual impact of the Formline and Rhinoweld ranges.
From clean, structured garden edges to integrated seating and feature elements using gabions, the displays demonstrated how these products can be used to create functional, durable, and visually striking landscapes. The response from visitors reinforced just how valuable these solutions are across both residential and commercial projects.
Collaborating Across the Show
It was also a pleasure to see our products featured across other areas of the show, including:
The Richgro Garden Display
The Ellenby Tree Farm stand
These collaborations helped showcase the versatility of Formline and Rhinoweld in a range of different garden styles and applications.
Supporting The Forever Project’s Live Garden Transformations
One of the highlights of the weekend was working alongside The Forever Project, in collaboration with DFES, on their inspiring Blank Canvas Makeovers.
Across the three days, visitors watched as empty spaces were transformed into fully realised gardens:
- Day 1: Firewise garden design
- Day 2: Firewise garden with a lower fire rating, incorporating bark mulch
- Day 3: Waterwise rewild garden
Each transformation demonstrated how thoughtful design can create landscapes that are not only beautiful, but also purpose-driven — supporting both fire resilience and water efficiency.
The key message throughout was clear:
By selecting the right mix of plants, particularly native and waterwise species, and combining them with practical landscape solutions, it’s possible to build gardens that are safer, more sustainable, and better suited to Australian conditions.
Formline landscape edging and Rhinoweld gabions played a role in shaping these spaces, alongside natural elements such as logs, stones, and bird baths — creating functional, balanced, and visually appealing environments.
The Forever Project was supported by a number of industry partners including Domus Nursery, EcoGrowth, Baileys, Red Sands, and more — making these live builds a true collaborative effort.
Why Firewise Gardening Matters
With the increasing risks of bushfires across our state, Firewise gardening is about more than safety — it’s about resilience, awareness, and smart design choices.
The DFES Firewise Gardening in Western Australia guide encourages homeowners, landscapers, and developers to:
- Choose low-flammability plant species
- Incorporate non-combustible materials in garden builds
- Design gardens with defensible spaces that help protect homes
- Maintain a sense of natural beauty without compromising safety

A Weekend to Remember
The 2026 Perth Garden Show was a great reminder of the passion within the landscaping and gardening community — and the growing importance of designing spaces that are not only beautiful, but also resilient and environmentally responsible.
We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand, shared ideas, and took the time to connect with our team.
We’re already looking forward to what next year brings.
