Tim Vangestel

Tim looks after our NSW warehouse, making sure everything stays organised and running smoothly. He’s responsible for picking, packing and dispatching orders, helping get StrataGreen products out to our NSW customers.

What does a typical day look like for you in the warehouse? 

I’m usually bouncing between picking orders, unloading deliveries, sorting stock, and keeping the warehouse in good shape. It’s hands‑on, steady work, and I like making sure everything’s where it should be.

What’s your favourite StrataGreen product – and why?

I’d have to say Formline edging. It’s genuinely enjoyable to pack, easy to work with, and there’s something satisfying about sending out an amazing product that landscapers rely on all the time.

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not at work? 

Outside of work you’ll usually find me gaming, tending to my fruit and veggie garden, fixing something around the house (even if it’s not broken yet), or enjoying a well‑earned sleep‑in.

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?  

People are usually surprised by how much I enjoy the behind‑the‑scenes stuff — organising, maintaining, and making sure things work the way they should. I take a lot of pride in the jobs most people don’t notice, but they’re the ones that keep everything moving.
