The NaturGuard BIO Treeguards are an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for protecting plants and saplings during their first year of growth. Made from 100% biodegradable stock, these treeguards offer excellent protection while also being kind to the environment.

Unlike traditional treeguards that can take years to degrade, the NaturGuard BIO Treeguards will fully degrade into the environment over 2 to 3 years. They are also certified to TUV home compostability standards in Europe, meaning that they will naturally biodegrade in home compost into CO2, water, and biomass within approximately 24 weeks.

The NaturGuard BIO Treeguards are easy to install and feature a slot at the back for staking. They are also manufactured in Australia, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and meet strict environmental standards.

Additional Information

Due to the biodegradable nature of these guards, we recommend a minimum of 2 supporting stakes per guard, however ideally 3 for best performance. This provides the guards with the necessary support as they degrade. Depending on the ground hardness at the planting location the supporting stakes can be either timber or bamboo or a mixture of both.
