For best results, secure each pod using biodegradable weed mat pins pushed through the cardboard skirt that sits flush against the ground around the outside of the unit.
As a general guide:
- 3 biodegradable pins per pod are recommended for most installations
- 2 pins may be sufficient in sheltered or low-wind locations
- Additional pins may be required in exposed or high-wind environments
