General Installation Advice:
1. Excavate a 150mm deep trench on the upstream side of where the fence is to be erected. Bury the bottom section of the fence in the trench and backfill with soil, compacting to ensure anchorage.
2. Drive support posts into the ground until sufficed resistance is acheived at maximum 3 metre centres. Position TerraMaxx Silt Fence against support posts and tension. Attacvh using galvanised staples.
3. Ensure TerraMaxx Silt Fence is pulled taut during installation.
4. Regular inspection of silt fence especially after rainfall, and the removal of excessive silt deposits assists in the prevention of long term erosion.
