Manufactured from durable corrugated plastic, the fluted construction provides greater structural rigidity than a standard plastic sleeve while remaining lightweight and practical for large-scale planting programs. The guards create a protective barrier around newly planted seedlings, helping shield them from rabbits, birds, browsing animals, wind, rain and wind-blown debris.
By creating a more protected environment around the young plant, the guards can also help reduce moisture loss and environmental stress while encouraging upright growth during establishment. This makes them particularly well suited to revegetation, environmental restoration, landscaping, forestry and tree planting projects.
Each tree guard is 200mm wide and pre-split at the back for straightforward installation with suitable hardwood stakes or bamboo canes. Two height options are available, allowing the guard to be selected according to the requirements of the planting project.
Fluted Plastic Tree Guards are supplied in packs of 50 and are also available without air holes if required – please specify when ordering.
