Treerings are a game-changer in the fertilising industry. Treerings started humbly in Garry’s backyard in the Perth Hills. Garry wondered if there was an easier way to ensure plants receive the nutrients to grow stronger. He spent five years experimenting and testing for a one-stop solution. Treerings was born! Find out how Treerings, a family-owned business, revolutionises the market.

Treerings launched in December 2019 at a local market. Immediately, there was a lot of interest in the product. The only way to keep up with the demand was to purchase a machine to automate the Treering-making process.  Made up of re-purposed materials, Treerings are compact fertiliser rings that provide precision fertiliser placement, optimising the nutrition of trees/shrubs to enhance their growth and stimulate flowering. Treerings is now a successful family-owned business.

What are Treerings made of?

Treerings combine horse manure, slow-release trace elements, nitrogen phosphor, and potassium (NPK). If you plan to plant new fruit trees or natives this winter, Treerings are perfect. They sustain trees, plants and shrubs and provide annual nutrition. You can safely use them in the garden, commercial crops, tree plantings, roadside plantings, plantation fields and mine site rehabilitation. Treerings are 100% biodegradable.

How to use Treerings?

Snap them in two along the precut lines. Next, place them at the base of your plant or shrub. Water your plant thoroughly to settle it in, and the nutrients will help the tree grow stronger faster.

How do Treerings work?

Treerings initiate a combination of rapid growth and slow-release fertilisers. As the Treering breaks down, it stimulates bacteria and microorganisms that assist the plant in taking up nutrients. The nutrients are important for growth and development. Treerings are a great way to fertilise your garden safely and naturally. The best thing is: Even though they are made from horse manure as a base, they do not smell.

Why you should consider Treerings this year

Treerings offer many benefits. As planting season is approaching fast, it’s an excellent time to give it a go. Key benefits include:

  • Prevents over-spray, under-spray or runoff to water sources
  • Turns common waste materials into a new purpose

  1. Are your treerings safe to use around dogs? I want to try them but have 2 greyhounds and am concerned they might lick or nibble them and get sick. (They always investigate anything new that I put in my garden and could possibly try these out!

    1. Hi Claire,

Your question is part of the product page FAQ, answered officially by Treerings team. I will copy paste the Q&A here:

Q: Would Treerings be harmful to my pets?
A: No. Since the Treerings ingredients are natural, they will not be harmful to your pets. However, we caution that pets should not consume Treerings products. To deter your puppy from destroying your newly installed Treerings (which they may see as a toy!), we recommend concealing it under the top layer of soil. Since the Treering has no smell of interest to the pup, they won't even know it's there once concealed!

      I hope this helps!
