We visited our friends at Arborwest Tree Farm just last week, who were excited to use our woven planter bags. The StrataGreen team (Gavin Lara) arrived around 10 am. The Arborwest team (Liam, Lee and Ryan) were ready to upgrade some magnolia tree planter bags. Now let us tell you more about StrataGreen woven planter bags!

THESE PLANTER BAGS ARE THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR POTTING SEMI-MATURE TREES & PLANTS.

Our StrataGreen woven planter bags are the perfect solution for potting semi-mature trees & plants. Made of High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) fabric, these planter bags are durable, easy to use and cost-effective. The material is UV resistant to help prevent sun damage that can cause premature aging or discolouration. They’re also waterproof and breathable with drainage holes so that they won’t trap water inside during watering cycles.

The robust construction makes it possible for these bags to withstand years of use without excessive signs of wear or tear!

Now let us show you how we potted up the magnolia trees from the old torn bags to our planter bags.

THE UV-RESISTANT HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) USED IN STRATAGREEN WOVEN PLANTER BAGS ENSURES DURABILITY AND WITHSTANDS THE ORDINARY WEAR-AND-TEAR OF HORTICULTURAL APPLICATIONS.

High-density polyethylene is a robust and durable material used in many applications. It’s also common for HDPE to be used in products such as plastic bags or cups. HDPE is one of the most commonly recycled plastics because it is flexible. It can also take on different shapes without breaking down too quickly.

HDPE IS ALSO VERY LIGHTWEIGHT AND HIGHLY VALUED BECAUSE IT IS RECYCLABLE AT THE END OF ITS LIFE CYCLE.

HDPE can be recycled into other products, reducing the demand for virgin material and helping to preserve our natural resources.

THE WOVEN NATURE OF THE FABRIC CREATES MANY PORES IN EACH SQUARE INCH OF MATERIAL. THIS ALLOWS MAXIMUM MOISTURE ABSORPTION AND KEEPS YOUR PLANTS HAPPY DURING PERIODS BETWEEN WATERINGS.

The porous nature of these planter bags allows for maximum water retention. It will keep plants healthy and hydrated longer than traditional plastic containers or pots. Not only the plants will benefit from it, but our wildlife will also too! We found a Praying Mantis treating our woven planter bag as its new home…

WE RECOMMEND STRATAGREEN WOVEN PLANTER BAGS AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL POTS. THEY ARE COST-EFFECTIVE, STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST YEARS, AND EASY TO USE!

The bags come in various sizes, from 15 to 1000 litres (the size of an IBC). They’re made from 100% recycled materials, which means they’re good for the environment and great value for money. Not only that, but they also have a service life of 3-4 years in outdoor UV exposure.

Place the tree in the bag, fill it up with potting media, pop it into place, think positive thoughts, tie it up, connect the irrigation. It couldn’t be simpler!

According to Arborwest Tree Farm team, the bags also have ‘a good colour scheme and aesthetically pleasing to the eye’ caught on our blooper video!

We heard from the grapevine that our Arborwest Tree Farm friends were having their weekly 'Fat Friday' with KFC on the menu. Like any good guests would, we decided to let them enjoy their lunch and off we go back to Canning Vale!
